DNS-Layer – Reporting

Most lesson projects I’ve completed were instructional videos, but I’ve also written content for the Umbrella Reporting feature. This was a hybrid lesson that was a mix of text and animated GIFs. Below are a few examples of those animated and static images edited in Photoshop and After Effects, utilizing custom sizing boxes to highlight areas and a UI mouse cursor to simulate mouse clicks in AE.

This is the original transcript written to guide the reader through the features that would be most important for them, but also outlining other tools for their workflow. This was more procedural than just a basic documentation article.

I designed this storyboard to help organize the transcript placement and images for publishing. My peers would review the storyboard and leave their feedback for corrections and any design changes.
